So by the time we got the Lulwa Al Amin pop up boutique most of the stuff was sold out ... which I have to say I am not surprised  her collection was amaaaaazing to say the least she is a true fashion designer unlike the cupcake generation of fashion designers who seem to have a love for fashion and know all the names called them selves an fd ... wish you all the best in your coming collections and inshalha they will all be a success :)

Recall in an earlier post I had introduced a talented local designer Lulwa Amin here is a preview on some of the pieces for SS 12 this is what I loved .. actually I loved them all but I had to select a few as if I am buying them ;) a brief on the designer she is a graduate of CMS in textile & design she worked under the wings of Mathew Williamson and Browns boutique this collection her inspiration comes from Sound of Music hence the soft colors and gorgeous pastel prints. The designer will be hosting an event on Feb 11 to show case her collection will be providing further details sooon .. stay tuned

So yesterday my hubby went to a cooking course and surprised me with dinner :* he did machboos ribayn (shrimp with rice), cheese, cake and pancake which I had for breakfast the next day ... honestly it was AMAZING very healthy and very little oil was used. For those who are interested in taking cooking courses call the chef Mrs. Mona Al Hassan she does groups for 12-15 ppl 4 hours from 4:30-8:30 6BD/hour her mobile is 33248248/39465242

So apparently there is center in Bahrain for courses given to house keepers for enriching their skills and training in them in hospitality general cleaning and maintenance,  I think that is a great thing I would definitely send our house keeper. The center is the first of it's kind in GCC and Bahrain so whomever is interested you can call them on 17211445/38883046

So as you can see my photos are CRAPPY I am looking for a camera that takes great shots and is light in weight found these two Sony & Canon if any of  you could recommend a camera with model no you would make my life easier lol

Food for thought!

So there is a new Italian restaurant in town with a modern twist it's among my fav been there so far a couple of times here is what we liked so far the octopus salad, the veal ravioli, the eggplant starter oh and the wrapped hammour starter, the sea bass, black cod, salmon and the steak oh and for desert the milfulie is yum (sorry about the sp but you get my drift :p).

Food for thought!

For those of you who haven't been to MASSO ... what are you waiting for!! The food is YUM to say the least... the chef Suzy is culinary at it's best .. she uses organic produce which you will notice in every bite that it has a rich taste ... me and my husband looove it.
Love the concept of sharing the food which is great you get to try out most of the stuff on the menu!
