Shrekahnth launched his first collection at the Dubai Fashion week in Spring summer 2010. He worked on a new wave of digital art work which was inspired from the art and architecture of Dubai. He made a name for himself with the usage of bold islamic art in his work. For Fall, he staged his most influential collection, inspired from The travels of Ibn battuta , which incorporated color blocking elements and Hyper- real art work into his designs. Despite there being a traditional history behind each element , it was yet very Modern.

Shrekahnth is a Fashion design Graduate from National Institute of Fashion technology, India. Formal education in NIFT, Hyderabad taught him not only cut and construction but also the value of the traditional and exotic silks of India. Today Shrekahnth's work is angled towards the Modernization of an ethnic aesthetic, through the medium of hyper-real prints and his deft manipulation of these prints. He has created a fusion of foreign subjects and contemporary Islamic art that translates into fashion-forward prêt-à-porter. He studies art, history, religion and various cultures and  translates them into a very simplified, modern interpretation, uniquely his own -- That is how he sees fashion today. After heading a Hi-end label, Royal Rickshaw for three years , he is currently experimenting with geometry and structure in his patterns and his prints, Injecting technological elements and modernizing fashion to suit and confort with his own uniqueness.
